How did the Battle of Saratoga affect foreign aid to the Patriots?

The Battle of Saratoga was known as one of the greatest battles ever fought in America. In the summer of 1776 a army lead by Sir William Howe invaded the New York area. His Troops defeated our less trained army. The victory of Saratoga was a turning point in our independence. The French sided with the Patriots and supplied them with weapons and ammunition. With the victory, this gave French hopes of us having the ability to win wars. The French signed the Treaty of Paris and sent us supplies and even there navy to help us.
